I've been playing it ALOT I wasn't crazy about it at first but vocally I was blown away but after a few days I realized this was exactly the Brandy I was missing. That deep lyrical content that makes you think. Two Eleven was the album that was missing those feelings. I can't wait for the new music..
Her vocal is absolutely an entire EXPERIENCE

I played it a lot the first day to kinda have ti grow on me. I like the song and I feel like it will be a strong album cut (perhaps an intro to the album). But yeah, I'm ready for some heat and I'm also ready for some VISUALS. Its about time we get Bran to release a song and music video simultaneously.
I love Freedom Rings because it's so therapeutic for her to get that all out.. And it's super honest. Now I'm ready for those heartbreak songs and bangers.
I honestly don't even care to get a video for this. Let it be a cute buzz mess and drop the REAL mess and video. Don't waste anymore time...

This was a perfect intro buzz single into the new era! I didn't like it at first but love it now. I do wonder what's the next move tho. Is she gonna push this as the first official single or what?
I doubt we getting the album this year tho. Definitely a single I think for sure

I like some parts but it still has to grow on me. I like when she sings a bit softer and the bg vocals take over. It is a lot of screaming and sometimes she sounds in a rush, don't know if that would work for a single. B&P was a lot more catchy. I appreciate her sharing her emotions tho

It seems like there was no hype around the song. Even when B&P was released, there was that video and article on Billboard.com etc. Seems like only blogs wrote about ,,freedom rings".

I really enjoy it because it's a departure from the Summer Walker vibe I'm into right now. I can't imagine it's more than a buzz single though, especially because there has been no real push behind it outside of social—press, music video, etc.

I'm not done with Freedom Rings yet. I have it on my October Playlist and I also have been listening on YouTube at least once a day since it dropped. I don't want her to just power through her promotion for the new album and be done with it. I want some real promotion. I would like to see a video and at least a couple live performances of "Freedom Rings" and "Love Again"

I think Love Again is just tied to Daniel's project, not Bran's. I doubt budget will be put behind Freedom unless it makes a decent showing on the charts. But I am excited for a new era to begin and really love the track.
I listen cuz it's Bran but I can't say I'm in love with it . I really hope she has something else coming ASAP.

to be honest the 1st listen was a nightmare i didn't understand what was goin' on... i don't get the beat, i didn't get the lyrics and the song was way too wordy in the pre-hook and the hook..
then the 2nd time it was wrap
i might have played it a thousand times hgfdc
but i need more
