How do you guys rate this against the last album?
Tie?
I think I need to sit with this album for a while to be fair
I will say I definitely think shes singing better on this
its more experimental musically for sure
but I kinda think self titled has stronger songs so far

Yeah, it gives me a lot of the same feels as self-titled. I was expecting more songs in vein of Formation, but it's not as radio friendly.

LOONA.

I prefer the vocals on this album too. Singing is just more than belting, long runs and growls. She definitely experimented a bit more this time around. I'm just glad she's growing as an artist. She's always gonna serve a lean here and there but I doubt we're ever getting a B'Day sequel.

Self-titled >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Much stronger songs, material, excitement, and VARIETY. Just better music imo. Lemonade kinda remains at the same pace the entire album... However, I do like how well it flows. If it weren't for the visual, I would be extremely disappointed. Self-titled had LIFE without the visual.

BAPHOMET.

Not Self-Titled having more variety. Girl.

It was Urban and R&B. Minus "Haunted"

Cowboy Nine

wow yeah. self titled slays sangria.

Cowboy Nine

I'm screaming at her READING Jay this whole movie

BAPHOMET.

:ohwow: and I cant wait to see her perform these songs. They seem like they'd translate better on stage. Its more engaging.

:stressed: the crowd once she gets to "Dont Hurt Yourself". The stadium is about to be LIT. I hope she brings out Jake White.

STUNNA GOD

Variety as far as TEMPO.... Bey kinda just did a cute little jog through the entire Lemonade album.
