Guys, this is why I love BRANDY! This performance made me forget about all the wait & all, all she has to do is stand there and sing. It probably also helps that this was a proper live performance with real instruments behind her. More of this please for her new era!

It was a bit amateurish . 2012 Brandy would?ve ate this performance . It felt like it was the first performance and no rehearsal . But yeah I think between the breakups , the law suits , sis has never carried this much weight and we can only speculate what?s really going on . It looks like she just put on something casual in her closet . Wasn?t a terrible performance but it was just missing that special thing that she usually delivers . Even during common free styling she is yelling yaaaaas in the background instead of being in performance mode . TBH I think she is a bit too relaxed and I think this is Brandy without the force of a label behind her . She?s an icon !! She should slay any setting

On second listen, she was nervous but still tried to have fun and get the audience involved. Her outfit makes a little more sense looking at how the rest of them are dressed.
I love her honesty, but sometimes when you tell people you?re nervous, they expect you to not deliver your best.
That man was getting on my nerves. And this is not a song for this type of venue given that the original had a whole choir. It needed at least 1 female background singer.
Her voice is just simply beautiful. No auto tune needed. Her problem is that she doesn't take risks and plays is too safe. There's no reason for her not to belt or reach for hit some higher notes in live performances. We all know she can do it.
Also this song is genuinely fitting for the resistance movement, to keep people uplifted. Im interested in seeing if/how it will be used in the coming months.

They probably didn?t have time to rehearse and then common started freestyling..it was a cute performance, her voice is still amazing
lol bitch he said her added weight causing her to struggle to breathe . Logging out
she sounded nervous on the first couple lines and then got into it and sounded good. but when she got to the final chorus and had to do ad libs, her voice was too hoarse and she was straining to hit the top notes. that's just the thing with bran's voice now. sometimes its effortless up there and sometimes, she's hoarse and raspy and have trouble belting. but that is probably due in part to her not fully taking care of her voice these days.
