I don't know what the hell yall talking about but 7-8 episodes aren't normal for anything. 13 episodes is the norm for new shows then depending on the success a network can order more depending on the contract. 22 is the max amount of episodes a season can have.

8 episodes has happened before and it'll happen again. It's not indicative of ratings or anything because this deal was in place before the show ever premiered Lolz
