i honestly think the opposite is true. i think this firlis a PERFECTONIST. and it shows in her (released) work.

but perfectionism can be extremely debilitating. and i also truly believe her artistic desires and her label's desires/plan are not on the same page.

The girls need to stfu sometimes and play their position. Funny how the guys really don't have this problem. The label puts out what they put out and they (men) just go with it. I mean, you recorded the song and submitted the song..but, you don't want it to be the single? Girl, shut up and sell this music..these label people know what they doing. TF?

the label DOESN'T always know what they're doing tho bby. and if she goes the label route and flops, they will not hesitate to drop ha. thats how they do. her artistic desires also matter. its not like shes a brand new artist that needs to play the game and be at the mercy of whatever the label says. at this point, shes earned the right to have a say in which artistic direction her career goes imo.

that's why you shouldn't sign the first contract they put under your nose, and these terms and stipulations have to be well-defined during negotiations (creative control, etc) basically this is like a basketball team. It's somebody's job on the team (at the label) to decide her direction or single, etc...her job is not to worry about that lol. She has to record, create, perform, travel, etc. If she wants to do everything, go be independent

eh, not QUITE. the label provides SO much other support than just dictating the artistic direction. you make valid points about the contract and i dont know what hers looks like. but i completely see her struggle from an artists standpoint, if this were to indeed be the case that they are trying to dictate her direction
