But with steaming these days counting there is not reason why Brandy should open with less than 50-100k after a 5 year hiatus. She deserve at least a decent first week. Her fans can at least stream?

The days of topping charts and big sales are over for Brandy guys. She's almost 40.

Here in the US that's usually the mark of death when it comes to mainstream success for female artists. Of course there are exceptions, but it's very unlikely with her being a Black female R&B artist with no machine.

At this point all you can hope for is that she actually releases an album and the music is decent.

i think she has the potential

she did okay on her last two albums, with moderate first single hits, which means she has the audience/support

at least she didn't horrendously flop like other artists have been been

she (and her team) really need to pick the right two first single cause that's one of her problems... singles choices are poor...   then after the second one they drop the ball
