The argument is that “thinness” is not a “default”
He’s basically saying that if someone’s overweight/obese, it’s possible that’s just the way they’re meant to be
At the core of this message is simply an updated version of “I’m just big boneded!” when you strip away the fluff.
He should stop associating fitness with gyms because you don’t need to go to the gym to get in shape or lose weight . Our bodies are meant to have some form of exercise . We need motion, sunlight , fresh air. Moderation in diet.
It’s very dangerous for us as Black people to accept some “I’m just meant to be fat all my life” mess . It’s all fun n games til someone is slicing off ur leg, compliments of diabetes.
