Heaven, No Coincidence, Simply Deep

some songs were very pop, I could see a Jessica Simpson sing a song like Train on a track.. I guess they didn’t want her to compete with Bey

I FEEL LIKE KELLYS FIRST ALBUM WAS MORE SOULFUL THAN BEYONCE'S FIRST ALBUM.
EVEN THOUGH BEYONCE WAS GOING FOR R&B SOUL HER ALBUM WAS MORE RAB POP.
KELLY WAS GOING FOR ALTERNATIVE POP BUT WAS REALLY ALTERNATIVE SOUL

I COULD EASILY HEAR INDIA ARIE SINGING MOST OF KELLYS FIRST ALBUM.
"SIMPLY DEEP" GAVE "ACOUSTIC SOUL" MOSTLY SOUND WISE

Looking back, he def shipped her off to us so that she wouldn’t be competition for Bey with the urban audience.
