I love this so much
I love how she?s leaning into the beat
!!!! And this clearly sounds like it?s toward the end judging by all the adlibs

I don?t think harmonies are overpowering the entire song. By the time she gets to this point, she?s built the song slowly up and you?ll know the lyrics already

Ok this makes sense!

When Bran does her Harmonies and layering she likes to listen to them loud and then mix them down. I think that?s what we hear in the snippets. Most of the time with Bran we hear shit in songs months/years later that we never noticed. That?s because they are mixed down so well.

By the time we hear these songs I?m sure the harmonies will be beautifully mixed into the track. She?s not gonna play songs clear As fuck so we already know the content.

I love these snipppet for the potential

!!!

Cowgirl

I?m ready for the final(s). I get the feeling I?m going to be so content with this new mess.

Yall are listening thru a cell phone speaker. Cell phones pick up VOCALS more than anything so the layering is going to sound like a lot. Get into the flow, the vibe but so much to say about layering when thay will obviously sound like a lot through a damn phone!!!

If Should I Go was played thru a phone, it would sound like a lot too!

Geesh

Should I Go is different. Bran was mainly just doing "ha ha's" and creating a flowing melody in the back. This one is literally "One line - vocal layering, next word - a run, vocal stack". It's just a different approach. I'm just judging based on the snippet alone and what she's been doing lately. Even that trap song that she previewed the other day, the vocal stacking was a lot. I trust her though and I'm optimistic the finished product will be dope but I just want songs where she can keep it minimal and just sing, period. We've been...well I've been waiting for an album where Bran just SINGS.

I think we "hardcore fans" overanalyze too much and it almost sets us up to already not like something before we actually truly hear it.

Because the reality is, if you go thru those comments, no one is mentioning the layering....

I want to believe that she knows a good sound enough to know when it's too much. And I want to believe the people around her do too....
That's why I don't like to lusten to snippets, especially of her harmonies and backs before I hear the entire song. I mean, you just don't know what she's gonna be doing with them in the song. Take "Lullaby", well, I was like meh, with the snippet, but when I heard the full song, I fell in love with it. It was so beautiful how she did those harmonies!  :stressed:

I do wish they would stop with the game changing thing
That is so much pressure on someone ..
And it leaves room for so much to be desired

Please everyone stop saying that. If it changes the game.. cool but allow it to speak for itself

I really think we're in for a treat

We should all know by now that a complex, and colorful artist like Brandy will need to be heard in HQ w/ a final mixed tea before its FULLY appreciated.
However we should just all be glad shes finally tf coming

DJ Camper: ?It?s something refreshing. I?m not putting Brandy in the club. You won?t hear Brandy in the strip club or in elements like that. When you think of Brandy now, think of stadium status or arenas. Think of like the movie 300 with the Romans. It?s going to be big and classic. That?s what I?m having her around this time around. If you think Coldplay is big, watch what Brandy does.?
This actually sounds VERY promising.  I like the sound of this ALOT

I would live for a Diana Ross-like comeback for Brandy.

"I'm coming out", "Upside down" book.
She's around that age now, like Di was.
