I'm not sure what you guys expected but keeping in mind 1) it's BET 2) it wasn't much of a budget granted 3) it's only 8 episodes I think it was great. I'm sure as the season continues it will get better. I genuinely laughed at a few parts. I'm already looking forward to the rest of the season.

So maybe a studio audience would be better because some of the moments they just used the track for weren't even that funny.
