I only buy indie or obscure hard to find albums, or Kellz and Bran. I enjoy buying Dawn's music, knowing it will directly get to her. I wouldn't bother purchasing a Ciara album however.
I bought Bey, cause of the hype, I wanted to get in immediately. And I felt for 17 vidyas she deserved my coin.
