Not Kipp going out of his way to prove he's engaged. You have nothing to prove king enjoy your life in private as it's meant to be. Marriage isn't a game or a walk in the park either so instead of defending yourself on here start getting ready for the challenges you're about to face.

we live in a society where getting engaged/married is something to announce , an accomplishment of sorts

so to see someone do just that is not surprising to me.

we will question certain things, but in the next breath we will tell someone else "thats why u dont got a man, no one wants ur ass." this is just how society operates.

we can't pretend it doesn't operate this way when it's convenient, then actively participate in things that contribute to the very things we question. many of us participate in one way or another.

i stress "us" and "we" cuz i'm not excluded.

that being said, only thing i had to say to kipp about his news is congratulations a couple weeks ago.

if he is happy, that's a blessing for him. regardless of the source of happiness.
