I don't let it bother me anymore that she lips. I hated it when she first started doing it during the Afrodisiac era, but I guess I've just gotten used to it. I'm also not totally convinced she's actually lip syncing now though. Part of me wonders if it's just an auto-tune mic or some kind of vocal processing she uses now.

Either way, I try not to let it ruin the performance and just enjoy what I can. But whatever she's doing definitely takes away from what made me fall in love with Brandy in the first place: the emotion in her voice and that unmistakable tone. Whatever she's doing now just sounds almost non-human.

But Brandy is a different kind of beast that really can't be tamed.
I blame this on all the years of rejection/lack of creative freedom.
She finally found control, and now she is not willing to let anyone really chime in.

This is one of the reasons Beyoncé is so successful. She has a team of 50+ people all inputting ideas and
applying a bit of each idea to create this massive machine.

But we will see come 2032 when Brandy's new album drops.
