that was the original meaning of it anyway.

The correct term should be extenstions: Weaved Extensions, Clip-In Extensions, Fusion Extensions etc.

But I've gotten more of an eye for it.

but like u said , it's easiest to spot it when it's ratchet and messy.
i guess that's the difference between good weave and bad weave.
