I'm loving this album collectively. It flows really well to me. This is the album I wanted her to make about 4 or 5 years ago. Better late than never I guess. A few things I don't like are the interludes. I get what they were trying to do with them metaphorically, but they seem more like interruptions. I actually love High Heels until Bran' Nu pops up. Syrai was gliding just fine and then 'Nu pops up and just fucks up the vibe. I don't know why Brandy feels the need to use this abrasive/aggressive approach when she's rapping. It's just not pleasant. If she's gonna rap I wish would keep the approach she took on "Gonna find my love" in mind. The rapping really took away from "I Am More" as well imo, but it's still one of my favs. One last thing is Brandy's reluctance to use profanity. If she doesn't want to curse that's fine but I would prefer her to just change the lyrics to make sense without the cursing instead of using some corny substitute i.e. 'snitch' instead of 'bitch' or "muh fuh' like girl...
But overall I'm loving this project. Hopefully this is sign of more things to come and I don't have to wait years and years for a new project.
