I'm kinda fuming no shade..
All these shows that have been created to help people tolerate and accept trans people ..
But yet no shows to try to fix the perception of blacks in America ..
All these shootings and deaths of these black men and women and all they get is a 15 minute segment labeling them thugs.. Gangsters.. Hoodlums and those alike.. But not one show to really bring this harsh treatment to the forefront ..

I really can't..
It's kinda crazy that trans ppl are being placed in such a high place ..
especially if ur white and trans..
All those commercials during "I am Cait".. That are clearly designed to make ppl cope with trans and welcome them..
Even Bruce's mother..
A lot what she said was fed to her.. She was fighting truly accepting him but u can tell they kept making her accept it or put on for the camera and try to help other mothers welcome their sons if they decided to do this..

Beautiful thing but no show helping whites see how vile they are in America and showing the worth of blacks in this country
Fucking bye
well at the end of it all shes still white

and apart of the kardashian fame

thats all it really takes
It's beyond that
All those trans commercials and him visiting trans ppl family ...
They are forcing us to accept this
When they're are larger issues in this damn country ...
And these issues will make for great TV as well..
Am sick of this shit

...

Herb.

I think it has less to do with a "trans movement"
And more to do with the fact that Bruce Jenner is a huge celeb who will bring in huge ratings
Do u think some random transsexual from the streets with an amazing story would get this platform? Hhhg

STUNNA GOD

Seems boring tbh. Not really that interested.

It's both but a lot of it has to do with trans awareness
Did u watch it?

no Lolz honestly I could careless

But so many transexuals are grateful for her
SHe's bringing awareness thru her celebrity

For once something useful is coming from the Kard klan
I'm not complaining

We have plenty of black celebrities ... Who have a great platform
But they choose to straddle the fence and keep quiet
Unless one of their VMA awards are in jeopardy.

And we can sit here and find a load of documentaries dealing with racism in America
And a black mans struggle. Talk shows have covered it numerous times.
Networks, etc.

its nothing new. What WOULD be new is one of our most influential celebrities using their voice to push something other than a streaming service.

Or our black president thinking twice before he refers to our youth as thugs.

Nothing is prevalent or current in terms of what is happening in our black community TODAY, I mean at best if one Nigress isnt yanking another Nigress's wig on tv, it aint considered entertainment.

Herb.

Well transsexuals didn't just pop up "today"
So I still don't understand the comparison

"Oh! But there are other important issues in this country!"

Reminds me of the fools turning BlackLivesMatter into AllLivesMatter :wheresmylawyer:

Herb.

Kkkkjjjjjjjjjj

Right. I mean if that's the logic
Why don't we say this stuff as we indulge in trashy black reality shows?
Which are aired by white owned networks?
We can't contribute and support the "problem" one minute
Then complain the next
