Given Lew's recent comments about his conceptions regarding doing business with black people (which surprised me, given his history of being so pro-black), I'd have to admit that his comments may reveal something that even the most "pro-black" person will probably not discuss.
Do we sometimes as a people, adopt and even make decisions based on prejudice or stereotypes about blacks?
Do we sometimes automatically assume that when we see the name "Toquesha" somewhere, that she is ratchet, when she could be holding a Masters degree and a great job under her belt?, etc.
Do we see a black man with a hood on walking toward us and clinch our manbags a little tighter? Is it just Lew? Or is he the only person being upfront with his feelings...
