well to be fair china did do the following things

01) lie about the situation and the numbers (they still do)
02) kick all the foreign press out of china
03) refused to allow any US or EU scientist or doctors come over and research the mess.

this could've all been prevented if everyone immediately banned any travel to and from china and order ppl to sit their asses down with STRICT border rules. + no gathers and no events.
Imagine back in January when it was cold and we didn't want to be outside any damn way. 

Now this mess is going to be going on until at least the end of august
