That's the challenge with reality shows, I guess... we want MESS (conflict/drama) for entertainment but with that, it eventually gets to a place of no return in relationship dynamics. So we get to this point of being stuck; everyone hates each other, no one wants to film together, the friendships feel fake/forced, etc.

But not necessarily in a good way...  RHOA is just an all around terrible cast with nothing going on. RHOP at least feels more organic, the girls are real about their HATE towards each other. Everything with RHOA feels forced and fake.

Honestly.... Idk what needs to change to save RHOP.. I actually think it's a good cast, there's just not much happening. I think we're so used to having a huge scandal carry each season, and so now that the girls don't have a big scandal to play with, it's boring.

They're trying to make Robyn the "topic of discussion", but she's just not that girl.. and she's stupid. And this is kinda old news, so it's not fun. They either need to bring Monique back or cancel this.

Potomac was refreshing because it was light but now it's unwatchable because they reverted to what all other shows do but they've damaged relationships way earlier than they should have.

!!!! I think the difference is that they have a good core foundation (Dr. Jackie & Dr. Simone). Their organic friendship keeps their cast grounded and together. These other shows don't have foundations like that.

Robyn really does need to go. Watching her & Juan lying in our faces explaining away his antics was it for me.

Then to also LIE saying he got fired for losing games, instead of being real about that scandal mess at his school...

We're only 4 episodes in, but I notice he's been a lot more present this season. Bravo probably cracked that whip.

like, the expectation that the gors are supposed to MESS and then come back next season like nothing ever happened is so LATE and unrealistic. this is REALITY tv, and in REALITY if a bitch cross you the wrong way, it's up and it's STUCK. never understood why gors feel like the shows "die" once the girls are at strong enough odds. quite the opposite, that's when the story really gets going a bit

i personally think it makes for GREAT tv when there are certain gors that just don't use each other at all. the entertainment in that is seeing how they interact with each other given the HISTORY that they have. that tension and context is what makes that dynamic so interesting.
