Period. I realize this some years back when I was contemplating on a whole "announcement" mess so people know. And realized that I didn't owe them shit as long as I accepted and was good within myself I'm good.
It's ok to not take on an entire battle for an entire community or people, everyone isn't built for those battles and it's ok. Just don't get in the way. I would rather him with a thriving career, than him getting hooked on drugs and casted aside because he had to be a "pioneer". It's not for everybody.
