I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. The music industry/entertainment as a whole has shifted significantly and I'm sure at Brandy's big age she wants to do things differently. She's earned that right. Film/TV provide Brandy with a sense of comfort and familiarity given that that's been her entire life - being on set versus your average musician who had the space and capacity to tour often. Though I pray we receive an album and a proper headlined tour (at the right time), I think more film and TV opportunities are exciting for her plus touring is a HUGE investment which she's more than capable of selling out and seeing major return, but timing is everything
Meanwhile, it's exciting to see there's potentially another film she could potentially work on/revisit. Two big horror releases would be a major flex for our girl. Original black girl scream queen. Love that for her.
