It's not even so much about "supporting the dark skin girl just cuz she's dark" because Normani been releasing mess and I didn't see such an overwhelming response as I have to "Motivation".

She's actually releasing great visuals/music and putting a lot of work in. The choreo in that video was outstanding and you can tell she's out for blood and taking her role as an artist seriously. She's hungry af and it shows.

The song is catchy af. She's released other mess and I've generally scrolled past all of it. That duet with the guy that actually charted really high on the Hot 100, the Waves mess... I kinda yawned and kept it moving.
