The new excessive (complex) backgrounds on the prerecorded tracks made it hard for her to try to mask it like she's done in the past and ppl were already able to hear that her live  voice wasn't in good condition since the sound kept messing up. She did acknowledge her hoarseness and said she didn't wanna not show up, but she had already lost the crowd. Everything that could've gone wrong, went wrong and you can tell it really got to Bran. The (lack of) energy was hard for her not to address.
What I will say is she pushed through til the end and some ppl were rooting for her. I hope she recovers from this and starts to take care of her voice because the prerecorded tracks were her biggest enemy tonight.

She had a really rough night. I'm sure she didn't cancel because she doesn't want that reputation after the Kennedy Center mess. She's only 40...too young to be "done". I would say she needs to take a break, but a break from what? She rarely performs anymore. I just hope she is ok mentally and physically. I don't want her confidence to fall any further. We want new music.
