The problem is that Brandy sounds so amazing -- that people don't realize the song is shitty.
She makes anything sound heavenly, so you have to pay closer attention to the song itself to make sure it's good enough; you can't be fooled.

yeah, its a bit sad that Brandy gets excited to work with them that give the songs a pass. Bran should be more demanding and selective with the songs, imo.

It all belongs to me being the biggest example, but not the only one.
Imo, when two great artists join forces, it SHOULD be something really special, a really great song, unique and that would have an impact on both fanbases and general audience, something to remember. Thats how I see collabs. Sadly, the industry is so fucked up that people collab each day of the week and most songs are forgetable. Its sad
