Release more than just 2 singles. We've been getting just 2 singles since Full Moon.
I'm still upset Do You know & Let Me Go wasn't singles.

The simple solution is just make good music and be REAL! The love for "B&P" is exactly how everyone should feel for EVERY song on this next album.

I'm so ready. Bran has something up her sleeve she ain't telling us yet!

I dont see if for Let IT GO as a single.

But If Done right and at the right time Warm It Up may have done some damage. I just get mad that they didnt release it and shop it to companies for sponsorship.

Warm It Up was perfect to release during that time. Music wasn't as dancy and trap then. I wish her team would've took a few pages from Bey and made Human an Iconic era for Bran. 2008 was the perfect time to solidify status.

Had  "DYK" been releases as a second single.... that album would have lasted so much longer.

We would have got a third single ... which I think would have been "without you "..... but Do you know would have definitley got her another hit.

marketing coin like money for a video and performances?

Cuz the money she put into the WD and touring, a lil bit coulda been spent on DYK.

Some songs sell themselves and I do think DYK woulda been one of those songs esp coming up off PID

!!!!!!!! But Without You would've flopped. I would've came right back with Slower as 3rd single for another quick radio smash. Maybe even a remix mess with Trey Songz or Chris Brown again. I could see it giving a It Wont Stop mess. If something is finally working, dont switch it up.

Let Me Go, Warm It Up With Love, Do You Know What You Have...these are all songs that would've done well at radio. regardless of how Brandy's fans feel about them as songs, they were potential radio hits.

I don't know what Brandy's team is thinking when they pick singles.

I'm sorry Two Eleven's SOLE problem was the top-heavy promotion. You 90s girls consistently continue to promote only during the first week, instead of how y'all used to do.

you gotta release hit after hit . make them buy your shit. that't what sets you guys struggle katy, bey, all of em. release multiple singles.

yeah they have bigger budget but if you know your budget is limited, stretch that shit out. sprinkle some here and there and make the label sign a contract that says they will allow you X amount of singles before you release the project.

I dont see Let me go flopping more than Wildest dreams. I liked the song since the very 1st listen and heard potential in it.

With a dope video and performances here and there, it could have had a decent run, not #1 hit, but.... just more promo for the album, just like PID, tho that had Chris Brown.

Right.  LMG did have more potential than most songs on the album, and it would capitalize of the same audience as PID.  But, yeah, DYK should've been the second single, though.

great article but I believe a team is what makes an artist. Artists nowadays (especially rnb) need to hire at least one SANE fan because they could bring in helpful marketing tactics. It wouldn't be a Selena case only and only if u tell that the person is sane. But I believe that is the only way to sustaining a great album era. Yeah I believe the saying, "No one will go hard for you, than you". But there are ppl who will go hard for you and they most def need to be in your camp. Anybody on this site would be a great addition to Brandy's team. Silent doesn't really have any great ideas and I don't really think he get's it. But just my small observation

"Fall" had the biggest hit potential on Human.

Two Eleven, that record, I just... "Slower" was cute I guess. DYK coulda done sth. because of Mike Will.

I however would have dragged Frank Ocean out of the woods to do a duet mess.

I used to love 1st & Love so much, but when I listen to it now :uhh: that beat sounds so stale

I always thought that song was stale tbqfh

Never saw why the gorls went up like they did.

man, I forgot 100% Fall and 1st and love!

yeah, those songs had the most potential. I remember loving them when they leaked. The album didnt have "HIT" songs to me. Piano man was interesting, but.... it lacked 'something'. Never felt Warm it up, it was different, but something was off to me. well, the beat, too repetitive to my taste, I never heard it a lot.

Shatterred heart was the stand out to me when I listened to the full album.

Omg, just remembered I did some simple videos with Human songs, imagining how the song would feel with a visual.

Damm, a label blocked my 1st and love short clips  :-(

but look this, lol. it was a quick experiment with another Bran video, see  :-D

I wanted to see how a urban set would fit with the song, seeing it now kind of makes me change my mind regarding the song being a single. It could have worked

It sounds a bit corny listening to it now, but at the time, it definitely should've been the 2nd single. Brandy needs to get her 2nd single pickings down cause its her poor 2nd single choices that halts the rest of the era.

I still love it but I get where you're coming from. Rodney was biting Polow hard with that beat and we know Polow shit sounds dated now.

My only complaint has always been inconsistent/underwhelming visuals and not pushing more than two singles.

great article but I believe a team is what makes an artist.

Unfortunately your "small observation" is 100% wrong.
