I love that song because of the 90s style, the different ways of using her voice.

And the beat is also giving me a bit of Katy Perry Swish Swish 

When Bey is telling people to release your job  easy for her to say, she doesn't need a 9 to 5 to stay alive. The lyrics could have been a bit more personal or original.

It's cute, maybe with a good music video this will be a nice buzz single. I think Ri's voice would have been better for this song. I think I will give it a couple more listens when I'm doing my workouts, maybe it will become addictive at some point.

I agree.I thought it was weird she's singing so "heavy" on this type of song.

And we know Beyonce is meticulous in the studio so that must be her natrual voice now.

I am so curious what the music video will be like. Is she going to do some vogueing? I know she has been innovative with choreography (Single Ladies, Run the world). I know it will be perfect for Pride. Her timing is on point.

It could just be my overall opinion of her voice. I've always felt it lacks soul. Singing too hard or even too soft doesn't always emote. There's something about her tone that doesn't hit my heart. Very few songs of bey's where I feel her voice tugged are my heart (ex. Halo)

she's still one of the best skilled singers tho of course

I've heard dance tracks where singers are singing and it still does something for me. (Ex. Tina tuner - when the heartache is over)
