Beyoncé's stans are weirdos when it comes to Brandy. But they are weirdos in general when it comes to all Black American female singers I notice.
They frame Beyoncé as this special negro and so if any Black American female artists gets praised it triggers them.
I have seen their usual past few day meltdowns over Brandy and their feelings of viewing R&B as a too Black of a genre so Beyoncé as they write is apparently to them above it and the singers that primarily sing it.
They go in on Nippy. They go in on Janet anytime her backgrounds are praised bc they've written that Beyoncé's is "better."
Brandy is an interesting legend bc she doesn't have a gazillion awards and has went through some shit BTS with executives so some of these artists stans can't fathom why and how she is perched.
Any viral post featuring Black American female artists is always going to have the buzzards under it dogging them women out to claim Beyoncé better than them. They never give that energy towards non-Black female singers.
