Yea, I like her but this is my MAIN issue with her. And also, she does come off really tryhard and inauthentic.  With that said tho, her most recent release is NICE

like I really like her but it doesn't feel like she puts herself in her music.

I feel like her Unbroken album was the closest thing we got to real Demi

Her first two albums were a cute Disney channel Pop Rock mess
But then she came back after Unbroken with some generic soulless shit
then her next album she tried to give SEXY adult generic pop slut
and now even though Sorry not Sor is my MESS she's giving a lite Kehlani mess out.

It's like how Beyonce and  Rihanna can you their real swag with Drunk in love and Work, but can give you some pop mess like Halo, Only Girl, but you can still feel like it's them. Demi can't do that.

I think a lot of people feel this way that's why she's never really had a big era. She comes off a bit pretentious.
