I didn't really wanna give THIEFtocha too much but yea :overit:
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

Yeah I didn't either but Ima give her thief ass credit

The contrast between her and Kandi's voices was their sound to me

Not you trying to slide SWV in with TLC

I kinda want to go or watch on YT their concert as a trio... I already know Mika showing out now that she has the opp to outside of the small batch of songs she has leads on

I absolutely love kandi as a person but that tone doesn't do it for me

Yeah it's distinctive but that's kinda where it begins and ends for me
yea. She has skill though and range but she just doesn't sound pleasant
She is important to their sound though. She's more of a T-Boz than Dawn though
I def wouldn't compare her to Dawn
Fnnfnfnffnnf

Dawn has a beautiful voice sings down AND was a crucially distinctive part of the dk sound as well

Not just 1 of the 3
The other stuff is preference CLEARLY.  She's essential just like dawn because the sound isnt DK/Xscape without those parties. This isn't rocket science people :kii:
so u love Kandis voice I assume
Love? No. Like? Yes. Idgaf what Tboz does she ain't EVER gonna give "vocals" on a track unlike kandi who can could

This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

And yea whose voice u like is preference but there are also technical components to singing that contribute to someone's voice being more pleasurable to more ears.

pitch , control , use of vibrato etc

We can't forget that

show me a grammy or diamond album. That nigga ain't 40+ so  when TLC and SWV were present for him they were DEFINITELY not at all the same league :dead:

Weak was bigger than all TLC songs on their debut albums that came out the same year. They were definitely in the league until CSC came out

So for 1 album??
