It is a lake, people should always be careful in and on the water  :uhh:
Especially when you are by yourself with a little child. And there is no one to help you if something happens.

NO! Clearly you know to get careful that's besides the point sus

Some lakes do have deeper parts or whirlpools etc

Most lakes have signs posted about that fact.  If they aren't posted then the lake is held liable.

Well, from what we're hearing, she and her son went into the lake, came out and she went in there again. She should've/would've known the threat. Additionally, they can sue all they want, but they would have to prove that she actually drowned accidentally and didn't commit suicide purposely.

Aren't you in Paris ?

I don't know California law all that well but in Texas there are signs on lakes I would figure in most other states they would have the same thing.

It's similar to a slip and fall.  If there is no sign in the store and slip and fall you're held liable

Im in Canada.

I get what ur saying, but the latter part of my post is also true. This is not just a slip and fall kinda thing. If someone is suing, the onus is on the plaintiff to prove that the person actually drowned accidentally as well. If Naya committed suicide, then who's at fault? How do we know that she didnt purposely kill herself?

we dont.

but multiple people are drowning. and if therr us no actial idication that she actually committed suicide,  this will be looked atvas a drowning and handled accordingly.

no necessarily

when things like this happen to celebrities, it tends to get national attention. now many more people are going to be looking at the lake and/or holding them accountable.

the amount of lakes, beaches and bodies of water that dont have these "signs".

listen, she's a grown ass woman. from what we are hearing, they were alrdy in the water. her son had a life jacket on and she decided not to wear one herself after jumping back in there. she killed herself - plain and simple.

RIP and stuff tho.

and you have every right to that opinion. i suspect it might be suicide as well, sadly.

but again, without proof this will prob be looked at as a drowning. and even if it isn't, the national attention is definitely going to prompt the lake to address the deaths and signage, or lack thereof.

!!
And let's be honest here. They're only suing cause there's money to squeeze.

Opposites Attract.

Them never finding a body is gonna be tough. She's gonna be immortalized and people are never going to give up conspiracies surrounding her death.

It's unconditional, these days you know....

Freemala Harris

Kalifornia.

It probably is suicide and she wanted her very last moments to be just her & her son.
