I do like it tho, I wish they showed more of the choreography throughout the song, especially after the second verse. I think it would have looked better with all of the dancers hitting that shit and us being able to see the entire routine.
For me she just didn't have the same energy I'm used to, and i touched on that earlier in another thread, but i know she wasn't feeling well so i won't make a big deal of it
I love how fun and colorful it is and the move when she leans in a bit on some smooth criminal shit. Obviously not nearly as complex or on the same level, but i LOVE that part and wish they would've showed more of that footwork

Aside from a few awkward parts (and that has more to do with the camera angle and editing than Brandy herself) I looooved her performance in the plaid suit! She really killed it

I will say I wish they would've gave her some simple catchy feminine choreo ( put it down) that girls would want to do in the club or on tic tok etc that one main move ( hitchhike) was just not a great idea. This is easily one of her best videos! She looks amazing in all the shots. The car part fit the tempo of that moment and I really loved it. I have zero complaints about the video

I thought the video was very cute. Because the whole video is shot on the soundstage, I wish they would have went all out with the performance angle to give the viewer something a bit more exciting to watch. I actually love the scene where she's coming from under the car. Whether it "made sense" or not I simply thought it was beautiful shot. There were some small bits of of choreography that I saw in bts videos that I was disappointed to see didn't make the final cut because I thought it would have made the choreography look a bit more cohesive, but overall I like it.

I think Bran likes working with people who she is comfortable with. But then again, idk, cuz she has no problem with working with new people musically.

Agreed. WD was different and tbh one of my favorite Bran videos. But definitely many similarities between PID and BM.

I actually enjoy when Bran dances, but she needs someone her understands how to choreograph for her. I'm not sure if she's found the perfect person just yet. She's very comfortable with Frank creative, but I hope she branches out more. He did great for Baby Mama, but overall, he hasn't been stellar for her.

I'm surprised Maverick didn't buy some of her views tbh... it's not a bad thing at all either, all labels and artists do it... they just want a certain appeal during the first week
I think, or at least I'd like to believe, that Maverick and eONE are being a bit strategic and cautious with how they allocate funding for this project. I don't see them putting all of their resources into Baby Mama simply because it's Brandy's first REAL single in 8 years. I'm sure they're using the song as a "feeler" to determine how much "support" they'll give for the rest of the project. I do think the way the single performs is very important though but I don't see them being overly critical of the "numbers" because I'm sure they understand this is just the beginning and it's going to take some time for people to jump back on the Brandy train.

Such a great and fun visual! Still watching it and catching little things. I think what I love the most is that she doesn't look like anyone else. It's referential but feels original with the styling, hair and makeup. Really proud of her! :wub:
