Brandy lost confidence in herself 15 years ago, she took 8 years before she released B7, then whatever happened her project that was supposed to celebrate full moon, was it new moon....

It's my fault I'm afraid..I probably put some voodoo on a possible collab at the time. Sorry. Didn't realize it meant no music would be released at all.


But I totally get why he feels frustrated, we really wanted another single at the time (Do you know) and then she started doing promo for the Game instead..very frustrating  and when I hear about this other songwriter who worked two years and didn't get the coins she deserves, I totally get why these songwriters and producers chose their own projects.

I am not sure Bran knows what she wants. That's why it probably would be easier to record a xmas album or covers...or gospel. If she even wants to do another album. Smaller projects without too many risks.

I agree, just give us music and stop caring about chasing former glory, those days are gone...an album of new material and a Christmas album would be good enough no matter what the sales are

She still chases former success, before she released B7, she said she approached the album with the attitude that it could be her last, like a do or die moment in her career

She also had that EP with Camper that was supposed to come out in 2015.

I think it's more to it than just her wanting to act, she was stuck in that contract. But I'm sure those songs we're probably great and deserve to be heard.

I think it's a combination of stuff, but Brandy does make her money from non-music like acting and endorsements which is why a lot of labels have always tried to get her into a 360. If her agent is calling about a role then acting is going to take #1 priority. Even now I wouldn't be surprised if she's more focused on acting since signing that Motown deal since she has booked at least 3 roles since then.

Brandy needs to go the Nas route... find a hot producer she meshes with and just release a series of projects... she overthinks in the wrong places, wish she put in that much effort into her marketing and rollout plans

I bet it's fire too Rico is just okay to me but brandy's approach to music can make a bad song sound good. No excuse for us not getting all this unreleased material smh
