And Kandi is right. It doesn't matter how many shows they do, artists make the majority of their money from touring. So if you're capable of making that bread with 15 shows a year instead of 50 go for it. Xscape is winning in this situation.

I understand where Kandi is coming from, her main goal is getting as much money as possible
But she's assuming that SWV can't help negotiate a big enough salary for all parties involved because she knows that SWV usually takes lower fees than them and promoters will take advantage
But she did mention that Xscape was about to be offered something low too until she came in and helped
I don't see why SWV couldn't bring their high streaming numbers, plaques, box scores from all their dates to show that clearly there is interest and demand for SWV enough to help carry a tour

That's EXACTLY why kandi wanted the money to be right. The only benefit would've been a tour where they made money and this wasn't that so it was really pointless for them. Swv would've been getting all the benefit because their asking price for a show is apparently 3x less

Because there isn't enough interest and that's the point.  Ofc the person offering money is going to low ball, that's how negotiating works. Kandi just knew their value and wasn't gonna accept a low ball offer. She brought in the people that were gonna get them the $ they're worth. that's why they make the money they make and SWV makes the money they make. Swv knows wassup
