But regarding the Ev vs Jack mess, I don't think Jack is lying (for once). What would be her incentive to have Malaysia off the show? That's like her only genuine ally.

What I think REALLY happened is Jack felt conflicted (stuck in the middle) and also just felt bad for Malaysia, which is why she agreed that Malaysia should take a break... Ev is making it seem like Jackie wanted Malaysia FIRED... I think Jackie was just being supportive and also felt like Malay' should take a "BREAK" from the show.
