i had a feeling the real reason she was walking away from music is because she (vince) just couldn't fund/invest in it anymore
i mean u can bring in as many discount songwriters, dodge as many invoices from stylists, etc. as you'd like but ultimately ur still in a pay for play business

and she makes a big deal about numbers and mess so i could understand her beating the gorls to the punch by "quitting" before those first week numbers were announced.
