I don't get why people feel that just because somebody posts something serious on social media, it somehow diminishes the sincerity of it. People vent online all day. We are not all 100% rational when dealing with emotions.

Speaking as someone who went through it, it took me years to come to terms with. It's only delayed to us because we don't know him. And the holidays triggered those thoughts and feelings, perhaps.
