he came up as a match (thru AncestryDNA), we did the homework and I found he was from my father's side.

It was confirmed through the names he supplied to me, which I verified with my great aunt. She was so excited, cuz there were names included that she was trying to remember for the longest time. she remembered all of her aunts' names, but never knew her uncles'. She was very emotional tonight. But she told me that originally she was skeptical about the whole mess.
And what's more, this proves that I am definitely my father's son.
