Well one of the theories is that her and Zordon used to be part of the original Ranger team thousands of years back. Then she turned on the team/killed them and almost killed Zordon, but Zordon trapped her in the 'dumpster'.


Another is that she got her hands on the green Power Coin somehow and the power didn't quite latch on to her like the other Rangers, which is why she looks like a corrupted version of them.


Both theories are supported by how similar her costume is to the female Rangers:
