blu is a beautiful lil girl.
and very lucky to have someone like 'fas as her mama
not because fas is a big rich superstar, but because she protected her and stood in her mess when it came to the anti-blackness Blu was facing
im sure she has some pretty amazing (and very real/hurtful) conversations with blu, because she knew that she'd be able to access all this mess people said about her once she got older and started using her tablets and phones.
the way fas has handled blu lets me know her pro-blackness is not a show.
it's one thing to talk the talk, but fas def walks the damn walk.
which makes me love GODmation and Black GODrade all the more.
im sure it was blu's idea to flat iron/straighten her hair. and that's totally OK if thats a look she wants.
IMO it's evident fas let her get old enough to request those types of options as opposed to making those decisions for her
