This is so big for both of them especially Fanny. Regardless of the outcome she'll forever be branded "Golden Globe nominee" and her team is good because they have kept the solo promo rolling so they'll leverage the nomination into more opportunities for her. 

Somehow they nominated "May December" in Best Musical or Comedy Film (when it is neither) but snubbed The Color Purple

The Critics Choice Award nominations come out this Wednesday, so she might end the week with another nomination for the week.
Fanny is going to get her some hardware this season.
She was on IG live this morning expressing gratitude and how far she's come.  She never dwells in her tribulations and remains happy despite what she has overcome.  Fanny recalled remembering when she didn't get invited to events or a lot of them, so she said something about since she's getting invited now she's not turning down any invitations.

 

The Color Purple better get some Oscar nods and this adaptation better win something unlike the 1985 version.

They've been snubbing it for Best Picture in all the award noms that have come out so I'm doubtful the Oscars will nominate it there

Wow, congratulations Fantasia and Danielle,  both have great chances at winning tbh. I'm rooting for them.
