The album cover is apparently inspired by a picture of Princess Diana from her last days before her death

There's 23 tracks and a majority of them are only 2:30-3:00 long
 :uhh:
I really HATE this trend of short ass songs. One or two short songs is fine, but the whole album being 3 minute songs?  :dead:  I love SZA but I feel like this ain't gonna be as good as CTRL

Cowboy Nine

Yeah I'm not mad at short songs. I realized I could get what I needed after summer walker kept goopin us with a 2:27 mess. I'll just repeat it

i can def see why artists now love the short song mess

it hits so many birds with one stone

1) attention spans - especially those of younger listeners who arent gonna sit thru a 5 minute journey of a song

2) more repeat plays if they like the song. for some reason when a song is shorter im def more likely to keep it on repeat if i like it. its kinda like giving someone small bites of pizza on a plate, then taking the plate and refilling it once they're done..  instead of the whole slice at once on 1 plate. before u know it , that person has refilled their plate 6 or 7 times before  they've had a whole slice. yet it still goes on record officially that they've had 7 plates of food. lol those plates = streams for the artist.

3) less overall work for the artist

i think everyone wins with that formula and its kinda genius IMO
