It's not a ratchet song or her tryna be like anyone else IMO
i really like it even though the subject matter isn't what i can relate to. It's not like it's a demo that someone gave her. She wrote most of this version of Baby mama and her signature backs, doubled leads, stacks and old school brandy adlibs (2nd hook) are all up n through.
the song isn't for everybody unfortunately and i know a lot of people don't really use, but i never thought to myself "hmmm this isn't Brandy". I'd say that about Put it down before i say it about this. That was someone else's vision and demo. She's not following any orders right now
