I just sent him a text wishing him a happy father's day text telling him how I was proud of him (he recently lost a bunch of weight) and he replied back and said he was proud of me for freely living my life the way I want to live it and that how blessed he is to be a father.
I know it sounds kind of basic but this really means a lot considering the history of our relationship...
