The performance roster for the 2017 Grammy Awards just got way more metal. According to a Grammy commercial that aired Monday night (Feb. 6), fresh off her Super Bowl LI halftime extravaganza, Lady Gaga will mash up with Metallica for a very special one-time hook-up on the show airing Sunday (Feb. 12).

The news was reportedly leaked on Monday night when eagle-eyed Little Monsters spotted a Grammy ad announcing the unlikely pairing.

(Spokespeople for Gaga, Metallica and the Grammys could not be reached for confirmation at press time; Rolling Stone reportedly got confirmation on the news.) Metallica were recently forced to postpone a show in Copenhagen due to vocal issues affecting singer James Hetfield.

But back on Jan. 14, the metal icons teased "something very unique and special" in store when they announced they would be hitting the Grammy stage again. "It?s been three years since we were lucky enough to participate in the awards show when we last performed with world-renowned Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang and we?re thrilled to be asked back," the wrote. "We have something very unique and special planned for this celebratory night, so tune in to watch on CBS-TV."

Country-pop singer Kelsea Ballerini and Danish band Lukas Graham will make their Grammy stage debuts at the 59th annual ceremony, while British actor, singer and songwriter Cynthia Erivo will team up with soul star John Legend in tribute to those from the music community we lost in the past year. Demi Lovato, Andra Day and Tori Kelly will join forces with Little Big Town for a special collaborative performance celebrating the music of the Bee Gees and the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever.

The show's performance roster also includes Beyonce, Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Daft Punk, Adele, Metallica, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars, Keith Urban, Anderson .Paak, A Tribe Called Quest and many others. The Grammy Awards will take place Feb. 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with host James Corden. It will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
