Why would this be a #1 had Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran or Charlie Puth sung this

He should have went to one of the carribeans islands, because that's what this song gives :dead:

And he doesn't even know it

But you know American Blacks love to fetishize African culture :kii:

yea ... this video is very contrived

but in his defense ... Omarion's not the first girl in history that has played the "African roots" card as a way to make themselves more exotic, so whatevs

and as Mack alluded to, he just jumped on a sound that has been used all 2016 to score a hit.

I dunno, I guess I'm not that easily gooped by somebody buying a round trip ticket and village hopping for attention! LMAO

Sorry ya'll know I'm done with the heritage mess but this was so unexpected from him.
Too bad I can't enjoy the song without the vidya though.

I'm still trying to understand why you do this when things about African culture come up :dead:

Let me know how that works out for you.

It is a spinoff of "Controlla"/"One Dance" but still. Another artist with some slightly different lyrics (no chicken reference) and a little more grilled vocal delivery would have had a mega hit with this.

It's like Justin Beiber with "What Do you Mean?" and "Sorry"
That whole dancehall tropical sound is done.
Alicia did it with "In Common" Drake with "One Dance"
Jidenna came with "A Little more" and radio paid it
