Vocals were good on record. Most of the performances were lipped. I believe she had every intention of lashing when it came to live vocals, but that first performance in Boston kind of set the tone for most of the era to be lipped.
She was clearly depressed but trying to put on a smile during the promotion.
But it was the beginning of her having better stage presence.
