I remember when my dad first caught wind of MESS. He walked away from me and would not turn around or answer me. Didn't talk to me for 24 hours.

Pretty rough 24 hours

The next night he sat me down and told me I'm his son. And with that duty he loves me regardless of anything on this earth. And that he thought he knew me the best. And he was hurt, that maybe he had cause me hurt. Not because he didn't know or approve because I was grown.

And I realized then how selfish it is to write some one off that loves you and is just completely blindsided.

I mean by all means do what you please

But don't be surprised when somebody who birthed you is a tad bit MIFFED to see you tipped out of the house in full get up and didn't love them enough to even tell them first before posting on FB.

She may not get over the initial shock, if she hates her son she's wrong. But a knee jerk reaction shouldn't be publicized and made to demonize her. He lied, she overreacted. We're all humans and there's room for improvement on both ends tbh

That's still his mother and he has to understand that as his mother she probably had expectation and wants and desires over his life.
