I'm just curious. I was planning on being abstinent until 2 weeks after my second shot. Still struggling to get the first one though and from what I read it seems like they might not even give people a second shot, because there's not enough. :stressed: Some of the older people are lucky as they have some immunity from their smallpox vaccine.
No plans on getting it anytime soon. Just staying away from homos.

Sex can spread it because of bodies being against one another so celibacy doesn't necessarily prevent monkeypox..

It's transmitted through direct and indirect contact and respiratory droplets. That's why sex has been a big factor bc you have to be in close contact and more than likely you will be breathing on each other. But this is spread just like chickenpox you can get it from hugging, touching fabrics after someone with it, touching objects after someone with it touches it. Y'all gonna be out here thinking y'all safe bc y'all not having sex and next thing you know y'all got it. Be safe y'all, luckily it has been found to rarely be fatal

I mean, of course we all know u can get it thru other means besides sex. N even tho we r exaggerating things here, 99% of the ppl in Ontario where I live have contracted it thru sexual contact. So its not unreasonable to believe ur risk is much higher if ur having sex with randoms in this city. The good thing with monkey pox tho is unlike covid, most ppl wanna keep their asses at home if infected for obvious reasons.
