you referred to Idris as light in comparison to my pic, perfectly proving my point that skin color is absolutely relative beyond just three categories "brown", "dark" and "light. The nuances are limitless.

I'd say they are both dark tho.

Glock is making more sense than you.....  :uhh:

I see dark and brown used interchangeably all the time tbh. Then there is light and also yellow. I don't think your theory is universal for the entire United States lol.

but if u dont believe in different hues.. then how can u say he was dark skin..
wouldnt he just be.. "BLACK"
I never said I didn't believe in hues, I actually referenced a hue.

I just don't believe in separating dark skin into different categories.

mmm bby thats what that means.. different categories=different hues  :young:
Not necessarily. IMO
A dark hue is fact.
"Creamy brown" is not a hue. Sounds like something that is individually constructed as opposed to being derived from the color spectrum itself.
v
black is a hue.. thats a fact!
brown is a hue as well..
dark is NOT  :raycharles2urmess:
Dark hues refer to colors that fall on the furthest side of color spectrum.
"Dark" is not an individual hue, which is why I said that there are different levels of dark skin, not just one.

I think that's the problem. We hear someone say "dark skinned", automatically debate like this ensues. "Not dark skinned! Here's proof! Look @ Tyrese. THIS is dark  :receipts: "

Why are we so quick in moving to correct that?

GLOCK

dont wanna argue really!
he was definitely brown skin!!!!
and dark aint a hue!!!

Malcolm is a ki. I vividly remember him saying "Brandy is not dark. I've been to Africa and seen real darkskinned people." on the old board. Now all of a sudden Michael "is definitely dark."

Reading is essential. In Africa, ergo the black world, Brandy is nor "dark", MJ is not "dark" either. As it is relative. But in the Western world both can be classified as dark as the big majority of the Western population is of lighter complexion,
