I think he means how he feel about the song overall. TAOL was not a good single choice, but it is one of my favorite Brandy songs that became a single.

Im sure the Timbo songs like black pepper and Hush would have been amazing

Black pepper probably was a great first single but we'll never know. What i do believe is that TAOL has likely aged better than that song would have. That's why i love it

I agree, it didn't sound like anything at the time, but I guess that's why I wanted it to be an album track. We needed something to push the album lol

I loved Talk about our love as a first single
it was fresh, a good feature, good production 
And I saw the music video on tv quite a lot
so I think it was well received in my country 
I don't know if there is a difference between the USA and Europe when it comes to music trends back then?
